For this week, my ROUGH sketches are done with some fabric manipulation also. This time I have received a particularly good feedback, my tutor advising me to just work on more ideas for the next week. Now I really understand the importance of the rough drawing. I can get more ideas only focusing on the garment as this is not for presenting, just to get ideas of it.
Today’s exercise was to paint fabric texture. For me is not working very well with watercolours but I will try more as we need to complete 2 fabric textures using watercolour pencils for the next week.
