Week 5:
Today we have talked about structures and how to develop ideas using the draping of a structure.
For the next week we must use 2 draping of structures from our research to develop ideas for 25 rough sketches.
I cannot wait for this. I will have to be quick as on Monday (our fashion and textiles practices lessons are on Thursday) we will have one to ones with Adam and I would like to finish until then.
Monday I had my 1 to one with Adam.
Being ready with my hard work on “rough sketches” which are more like not particularly good illustration, he told me to focus less on the appearance and more on the idea and texture of the garment. I thought that they are amazing, but they needed to be rough. I still like them, but I will try to do it in the way he told me to for the next time.
